The Ashford Formula was developed in 1949 and was the first product of its kind designed to harden and densify concrete.  Since then, more than 65 years later, competing densifiers have come and gone, but none have been able to match the proven and enduring results of the Ashford Formula.

In 1999, the RetroPlate Concrete Polishing System was unveiled as the first concrete polishing system in the market, and birthed the concrete densification and polishing industry.  Through the process of diamond grinding and chemical densification of bare concrete, the RetroPlate System creates a durable and highly attractive polished concrete floor.
