Earlier this winter in St. Paul, MN, this Whole Foods store was treated with the RetroPlate System. Gopher State Cleaning aggressively ground the floor to expose very large aggregate (3/4″+) prior to applying RetroPlate. In total, roughly 25,000 sq ft was ground, densified and polished, and the results are stunning.

The concrete for this project was a textured concrete with a non-slip finish. As it is a wet area, it was required to conform to Australian slip standards. The facility is used for fruit and vegetable distribution throughout all of Melbourne and has been a major project for the state of Victoria. Ashford Formula was used in both areas of the facility, including the flower market and traders stands (stage 1) and on all internal warehousing around the perimeter (stage 2). In total, approximately 155,000 sqm of concrete floors were treated with the Ashford Formula.

Brookland Middle School in Brookland, AR recently treated 67,000 sq ft of their school with the RetroPlate System. White River Flooring densified and polished the floor with RetroPlate, and added an extra layer of protection and finish using RetroGuard and RetroPel.
